Apnalaya
works with underserved slum children. Many of
these children are children of migrant workers
or nonliterates adult. Our observation is that
most of these children are weak in english and
maths.
As a volunteer, you can teach our children basic
english as well as english speaking or basic maths.
This is in addition to what our teachers would
be doing, so a meeting with our teacher before
your class is advisable.
You can teach our children either in the slums
near Govandi, which is close to Chembur or in
the slums near Nana Chowk
